THE CHALLENGE. The Freeroll Weekly Sports Prediction Challenge (the "Challenge") is a free-to-play, skill-predominant prediction contest. Each week, registered users compete to accumulate the highest virtual chip total by making predictions about real-world sporting events. Top finishers at the close of each weekly contest period are awarded cash prizes.
Standings depend primarily on each participant's exercise of judgment, sports knowledge, statistical analysis, and skill in evaluating teams, athletes, matchups, and game situations. While the outcomes of underlying sporting events naturally contain elements outside any participant's control, the relative ranking of participants over the course of a weekly contest period reflects skill in selection, allocation, and timing.
NO COST. The Challenge is free to play. No purchase, payment, wireless device, subscription, or fee of any kind is necessary or accepted to enter or to win. Freeroll does not sell, accept, or process payment for virtual chips, contest entries, prize-redemption tokens, or any other form of in-app credit. Freeroll operates a single virtual currency (chips), distributed automatically to all participants free of charge, in equal amounts, usable only within the Freeroll app to participate in the Challenge.
SPONSOR. Sponsor and Operator: Freeroll, LLC ("Freeroll"), a Florida limited liability company. Sponsor's mailing address: 7901 4th St N, STE 300, St. Petersburg, FL 33702. Sponsor is responsible for all aspects of administering the Challenge.
DISCRETE WEEKLY SWEEPSTAKES. Each weekly contest period is a separate, discrete, standalone promotion. The terms of one weekly contest period do not carry over to, modify, or aggregate with the terms of any other weekly contest period.
ELIGIBILITY. The Challenge is open to natural persons who are: (a) registered users of the Freeroll app; (b) legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia (Puerto Rico and all U.S. territories and possessions are expressly excluded); and (c) at least 18 years old at the date of registration (or the age of majority in the participant's state of residence, whichever is older). Registration is free. Limit one (1) registered user account per natural person and per email address.
EXCLUDED PERSONS. Freeroll, LLC and any individual involved in administering the Challenge are not eligible to receive prizes. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
SIGNING UP. Registered users may sign up for the Challenge at any time during a weekly contest period by opening the Freeroll app, accepting these Official Rules, and entering the active weekly contest period.
RECEIVING CHIPS. Each registered user receives one thousand five hundred (1,500) virtual chips per day. Chips are distributed automatically by Freeroll's server-side systems. No action by the participant is required to receive the daily chip allotment beyond maintaining an active account. Chips have no cash value, cannot be purchased, cannot be sold, cannot be transferred between accounts, and can be used only within the Freeroll app.
MAKING PREDICTIONS. During each weekly contest period, Sponsor publishes, in its sole discretion, a slate of eligible sporting-event match-ups, player statistical thresholds, and other prediction options ("Predictions") within the app. Participants make Predictions by allocating chips to their selected outcomes, subject to chip-allocation odds and thresholds set forth in the app at the time the Prediction is made.
Each Prediction locks at the scheduled start time of the underlying sporting event. Once a Prediction is locked, it cannot be modified except as permitted by the cancel/cash-out mechanism in the app (which allows retraction of a not-yet-locked Prediction with full chip refund).
The participant is solely responsible for ensuring Predictions are submitted before the applicable lock time. Sponsor is not responsible for late, missed, or partially-submitted Predictions for any reason, including network errors, device failures, app crashes, or user error.
SCORING. Each Prediction is settled by Sponsor based on the official statistical record of the underlying sporting event as reported by Sponsor's data providers (currently including The Odds API and ESPN public statistical endpoints). Sponsor's settlement determinations are final and binding, subject only to manifest error correction at Sponsor's sole discretion.
Correct Predictions credit chips to the participant's total based on the published payout multiplier at the time the Prediction was made. Incorrect Predictions forfeit the allocated chips. Cancelled or voided Predictions return the allocated chips. The participant's chip total at the close of the weekly contest period determines that participant's standing.
DEADLINES. Each weekly contest period begins Monday at 12:00:00 a.m. Eastern Time and ends Sunday at 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern Time (the "Weekly Contest Period"). The Freeroll server is the official timekeeping device. The deadline for any Prediction is the scheduled start time of the underlying sporting event. Sponsor reserves the right to remove any sporting event from the Challenge at any time, in its sole discretion.
SPORTSMANSHIP. By participating, each participant agrees to abide by general sportsmanship and fair-play standards. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any participant who engages in conduct Sponsor deems improper, unfair, abusive, fraudulent, collusive, automated, scripted, deceptive, or otherwise adverse to the integrity of the Challenge. Sponsor's determinations on fairness are final.
WEEKLY PRIZE POOL. The top ten (10) finishers in each Weekly Contest Period — the ten participants with the highest chip totals at close — receive cash prizes as follows:
1st place: $150 USD
2nd place: $100 USD
3rd place: $75 USD
4th place: $75 USD
5th place: $50 USD
6th place: $50 USD
7th place: $25 USD
8th place: $25 USD
9th place: $25 USD
10th place: $25 USD
Total Weekly Prize Pool: $600 USD. Each Weekly Contest Period is a discrete sweepstakes with a total announced prize value of $600. Prize pools do not aggregate across weekly contest periods.
TIEBREAKERS. In the event of a tie for any prize position, the tie is broken in this order: (a) the tied participant with the fewest total chips allocated during the Weekly Contest Period (more chip-efficient) wins the higher position; (b) if still tied, the participant whose highest-payout single correct Prediction was made earliest (by server timestamp); (c) if still tied, the participant with the earlier account-creation timestamp; (d) if a tie still remains, the tied prize positions are combined and the total is split equally among the remaining tied participants, rounded down to the nearest cent.
PRIZE NOTIFICATION. Each potential winner is notified in-app within seven (7) calendar days following the close of the applicable Weekly Contest Period. Each potential winner must, within fourteen (14) calendar days of initial notification, submit to Sponsor:
(i) Confirmation of legal name, mailing address, date of birth, state of residence, and email address;
(ii) A copy of a current government-issued photo identification;
(iii) A signed affidavit of eligibility and liability release on the form provided by Sponsor;
(iv) For prizes awarded to a single participant totaling $600 or more in any calendar year, a completed and signed IRS Form W-9;
(v) The potential winner's preferred prize-delivery method (Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, or Zelle) and corresponding account identifier.
Failure to submit complete and accurate documentation within 14 days will result in forfeiture. Sponsor may award the forfeited prize to the next-eligible participant or decline to award it.
PRIZE DELIVERY. Upon verification, Sponsor delivers the prize within thirty (30) calendar days via the winner's selected method. Sponsor is not responsible for fees, delays, or account-eligibility issues from third-party payment providers.
TAXES. All federal, state, and local taxes on any prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. For any prize that, when aggregated with all other prizes received from Sponsor in the same calendar year, totals six hundred dollars ($600) or more, Sponsor will issue an IRS Form 1099-MISC and report the payment to the IRS as required by law.
NON-TRANSFER. Prizes are non-transferable, non-assignable, and non-substitutable, except by Sponsor at its sole discretion.
GENERAL CONDITIONS. By entering, each participant accepts and agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding. Each participant also acknowledges and agrees to the Freeroll Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. All federal, state, and local laws apply. Void where prohibited.
If any federal, state, or local law, regulation, court order, attorney-general action, or other binding legal authority prohibits, restricts, or requires modification of the Challenge in any jurisdiction, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to: (a) exclude residents of that jurisdiction prospectively; (b) modify these Rules to comply; (c) suspend the Challenge in that jurisdiction; or (d) terminate it there.
NO GAMBLING. The Challenge does not constitute gambling, sports wagering, sports betting, daily fantasy sports for entry fees, lottery, or any other form of regulated gaming. No participant pays, gives, transfers, or is required to pay, give, or transfer anything of value (monetary, time, effort, data, or otherwise that meaningfully exceeds completing a quick registration form) to enter or to win. Sponsor does not accept wagers, stakes, bets, deposits, or any consideration. Chips are not currency, are not redeemable for cash or anything of value outside the Challenge, and have no value outside the Challenge.
Cash prizes are awarded to top finishers as a promotional and entertainment activity intended to promote the Freeroll app and platform, engage sports fans, and encourage interest in the Freeroll service.
This Challenge may not be used by any participant to conduct, advertise, promote, simulate, or facilitate any form of gambling, sports wagering, sports betting, or lottery. Any attempt to do so results in immediate disqualification.
SKILL PREDOMINANCE. Skill predominates over chance in the Challenge because: (a) participants exercise judgment in selecting Predictions, allocations, odds, and timing; (b) the Challenge is settled over a one-week period across multiple events and sports — no single event is determinative; (c) every participant receives equal chip allotments, equal access to published Predictions and odds, equal lock times, and equal scoring rules; (d) Sponsor publishes options, odds, and rules consistently and publicly within the app; (e) participants with greater sports knowledge, more careful analysis, and more disciplined strategies finish higher over time, consistent with skill predominance.
MODIFICATION RIGHTS. Sponsor may modify these Rules at any time for clarification or correction without materially affecting terms, with prospective effect. Sponsor may cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Challenge if events beyond Sponsor's control compromise fairness, integrity, or administration.
NO LIABILITY FOR ERRORS. Sponsor is not responsible for: lost or corrupted entries; inaccurate or incomplete data from data providers; network/server/app/device failures; typographical or technical errors in any aspect of the Challenge; or errors in published odds, options, match-ups, or scoring. Sponsor's correction of any error is final.
DISQUALIFICATION. Sponsor may disqualify any participant who violates these Rules, provides false information, multi-accounts, uses bots/scripts, tampers with the app or data, colludes, or acts to the detriment of the Challenge or other participants. Disqualified participants forfeit all prizes and standings.
PUBLICITY RELEASE. Except where prohibited, each winner's acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use the winner's first name, last initial, city, state, and likeness (screenshot, photograph, or app-rendered avatar) in any media, worldwide, in perpetuity, without further notice or compensation, for purposes of administering the Challenge and promoting the Freeroll app. Tennessee residents: see Section 9.
APPLE, GOOGLE, AND THIRD PARTIES. This Challenge is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, administered by, or associated with Apple Inc., Google LLC, any sports league (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, WNBA, NCAA, MLS, EPL, UFC, ATP, WTA, PGA, or any other), any team, any athlete, any broadcaster, or any data provider. Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not sponsors of and have no responsibility for the Challenge. Each participant releases Apple Inc., Google LLC, all sports leagues, teams, athletes, broadcasters, and data providers from all claims arising out of or related to participation in the Challenge.
Sponsor's collection, use, storage, and disclosure of personal information from participants is governed by the Freeroll Privacy Policy, incorporated by reference. By participating, each participant consents to Sponsor's collection and use of personal information for administering the Challenge, verifying eligibility, verifying winners, fulfilling prizes, complying with tax and reporting obligations, and as otherwise described in the Privacy Policy.
For winner documentation, Sponsor collects: legal name, mailing address, date of birth, state of residence, government-issued ID, and (where applicable) Social Security Number for IRS reporting. This information is retained only as long as required by law and by Sponsor's tax and accounting obligations.
Sponsor maintains records of each Weekly Contest Period — participant chip totals, final standings, winner documentation, and prize-delivery confirmations — for at least four (4) years following the close of the applicable Weekly Contest Period.

By participating, each participant agrees, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
(a) To release, discharge, hold harmless, and indemnify Sponsor, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, advertising and promotion partners, data providers, and prize-fulfillment partners ("Released Parties") from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (i) the participant's participation; (ii) acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize; (iii) any injury, damage, loss, or accident; (iv) any error, omission, or interruption in administration; or (v) any breach by the participant of these Rules, the Terms of Service, or the Privacy Policy.
(b) All prizes are AS-IS and WITHOUT WARRANTY of any kind, express or implied.
(c) No Released Party shall be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages.
(d) The maximum aggregate liability of all Released Parties to any participant in connection with the Challenge or these Rules shall not exceed the actual cash value of the prize the participant is eligible to receive in the applicable Weekly Contest Period (which will not exceed $150 USD).
MANDATORY PRE-ARBITRATION NOTICE. Before initiating arbitration or formal legal proceedings, the participant must first send a written notice of the dispute to Sponsor at 7901 4th St N, STE 300, St. Petersburg, FL 33702, with a copy by email to [email protected]. The Notice must include the participant's full name, address, email, Freeroll account name, a description of the dispute, and the specific relief sought. Sponsor has sixty (60) days from receipt to attempt informal resolution.
ARBITRATION. Any dispute not resolved within the 60-day informal-resolution period shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator. The seat is Orlando, Florida; arbitration may be conducted in person, by telephone, or by videoconference at the participant's option. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
The arbitrator has exclusive authority to resolve any dispute relating to the interpretation, applicability, enforceability, or formation of this Arbitration Agreement.
CLASS ACTION WAIVER. PARTICIPANT AND SPONSOR AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN THEIR INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. THE ARBITRATOR MAY NOT CONSOLIDATE OR JOIN CLAIMS OF MORE THAN ONE PERSON OR PRESIDE OVER ANY FORM OF CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. RELIEF IS AVAILABLE ONLY IN FAVOR OF THE INDIVIDUAL PARTY SEEKING RELIEF AND ONLY TO THE EXTENT NECESSARY TO PROVIDE INDIVIDUAL RELIEF.
If a court finds the Class Action Waiver unenforceable as to any claim, that claim shall be severed and brought in court, but the Arbitration Agreement otherwise remains in full force.
SEVERABILITY; GOVERNING LAW. If any provision of these Rules is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These Rules and any dispute are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except to the extent the law of the participant's state of residence requires application of that state's law.
MASS FILING. If 25 or more similar claims are filed or threatened against Sponsor in arbitration by separate claimants represented by the same counsel or counsel groups, the claimants and Sponsor agree the arbitration shall proceed in batches of up to 50 claims at a time, sequentially. Batch selection alternates between claimants and Sponsor. Filing fees are paid per AAA rules.
OPT-OUT. A participant may opt out of this Arbitration Agreement by sending written notice, signed, to Sponsor's mailing address within 30 calendar days of first registering. The notice must include the participant's full name, address, email, and Freeroll account name. A participant who validly opts out may bring claims in court, subject to the Class Action Waiver and Governing Law provision.
The following provisions apply to participants residing in the indicated states, in addition to (and where in conflict, in place of) the corresponding general provisions above:
ARIZONA. No Arizona participant may participate unless 18 years of age or older. No additional Arizona registration applies because the Challenge is a free, no-consideration promotional contest, not amusement gambling under A.R.S. § 13-3301.
CALIFORNIA. Participants are reminded that California Penal Code § 337o (added by AB 831, effective January 1, 2026) prohibits dual-currency online sweepstakes games simulating casino-style gambling. The Challenge is not a dual-currency game, does not simulate casino-style gambling, and does not fall within the scope of § 337o.
FLORIDA. Each Weekly Contest Period is a discrete game promotion with a total announced prize value of $600 USD — below the $5,000 threshold for registration and bonding under Florida Statutes § 849.094. All winning entries from a Weekly Contest Period will be retained by Sponsor for at least 90 days following the close of that period.
IDAHO. Idaho participants must be at least 18 years of age. The Challenge is a promotional contest conducted incidentally to the Sponsor's bona fide non-gaming business operations (the Freeroll app and platform), with prizes awarded without consideration, consistent with Idaho Constitution Article III, Section 20(4)(a).
MARYLAND. No purchase, payment, or consideration of any kind is required to enter or to win. Participants are not required to attend any seminar or sales presentation, and Sponsor does not condition any prize on any such attendance.
MONTANA. Montana participants must be at least 18 years of age. The Challenge is a promotional game of chance under Montana Code Annotated 23-5-112(38) and is not gambling under Montana Code Annotated 23-5-112(14). No purchase or membership is required, and no participant may obtain any advantage over another by means of any payment or consideration.
NEW YORK. Each Weekly Contest Period is a discrete promotion with a total announced prize value of $600 USD — below the $5,000 threshold for registration and bonding under New York General Business Law § 369-e. New York residents may participate subject to all other terms.
RHODE ISLAND. Sponsor is not a retail establishment within the meaning of Rhode Island General Laws § 11-50-1, and the Challenge is not conducted to promote a retail business. Rhode Island residents may participate subject to all other terms.
TENNESSEE. Tennessee winners will not be required to sign any publicity release as a condition of receiving a prize. Sponsor will obtain Tennessee winners' express written consent before using a Tennessee winner's name for promotional purposes, in accordance with Tennessee law.
VERMONT. Vermont residents may omit postage on any self-addressed envelope requesting a copy of the Official Rules or a Winners List.
WASHINGTON. The Challenge is a promotional contest of chance conducted under RCW 9.46.0356, conducted as an advertising and promotional undertaking solely for the purpose of advertising or promoting the services of Freeroll, LLC (specifically the Freeroll app and platform). No consideration is required from any Washington participant. Washington residents may participate subject to all other terms.
